4 Biblical Ways to Eliminate Stress

“Delight yourselves in God, yes, find your joy in him at all times. Have a reputation for gentleness, and never forget the nearness of your Lord.”
PHILIPPIANS 4:4–5 PHILLIPS

​This scripture covers at least four ways to keep stress at bay. The first is to delight yourself in God. Revel in His Word. Take pleasure just being in His company. The second is to find your joy in the Lord at all times! Look for Him hiding around the corner. Laugh when He works things out beyond anything you could have imagined. See Him in the smile of a stranger. The third is to be known for your gentleness. People admire the soft-spoken, those who exhibit contentment no matter what is happening in their lives. And the last is to “never forget the nearness of your Lord.” Knowing He is right beside you, loving you, protecting you, delighting in you, is a wonderful thing to keep in the forefront of your mind, just as He keeps you in the forefront of His.
