Full of faith, hope, and romance, this series takes you into the Heart of Amish country.

Despite knowing her parents are getting desperate for their only child to marry and give them grandchildren, Salina Stoltzfus is weary of seeking the perfect match. Every time she thinks she has found “the one,” he marries another.

The best way to forget you are the last woman any man in Havenlee, Indiana, wants to hitch his buggy too is to find something passionate to focus on. When the area is overrun with donations after a tragic storm, Salina suggests opening a consignment shop. The deacon supports the idea and offers his visiting nephew to help set things up.

After the embarrassment of having his fiancée call off their wedding, Seth Weaver takes his mother’s advice to leave Kentucky to stay with his uncle for a while. Unfortunately, Seth knows nothing about building furniture in his uncle’s factory, which is the only reason he agrees to help ready the consignment shop next door—not because of the little chatterbox working inside.

    Absolutely Wonderful!

Published by Dali Castillo on Mar 10, 2026

This is such a wonderful, tug-at-your-heartstrings story! The characters are amazing, and the author’s way of describing interactions and scenes makes you feel everything as if you were the characters. Seth is broken and broken-hearted, which makes his reasons for going to Havenlee totally understandable. My heart went out to him completely as I hoped for healing. And Salina was the right person to help with that. I absolutely loved Salina, who has also experienced her share of heartbreak. She is quirky and unique, incredibly caring and sensitive, and she feels others' plights deeply. While some don’t agree with her ways, they are just the right medicine that Seth needs. The story is full of compassion, faith, overcoming struggles, love, and healing, along with a lesson on helping those in need. And of course, there were those annoying characters that you just wanted to smack upside the head a time or two, and those that put roadblocks in Salina and Seth’s path. While they were annoying, they also contributed much to the story, which even made me smile a time or two. Those elements, and so much more, are what make A Heart on Consignment such an amazing story. It will stay with you long after reading it and should not be missed. Book Quote: The thing about assuming you knew what was best for your future was that God tended to knock you down a notch and remind you that He was still in charge. I received an advanced copy of this book. All comments and opinions are entirely my own and voluntary.

    Wonderful book

Published by Carol ALLEN on Mar 10, 2026

Salina Stoltzfus Is an only child who considers herself very plain with brown hair and eyes. Her mom is always playing matchmaker, but Salina isn’t interested, and just wants her to stop. When Seth Weaver comes to town to stay with his aunt and uncle in order to get over a broken engagement, he and Salina are thrown together and become friends. As they work together to help communities after tragedy, their friendship grows and they decide to “help one another “ by pretending to be courting. The plot is so unique and well developed that I found it hard to put it down. The characters are well described and very realistic. This is a beautifully written story with a theme of learning to wait on God for guidance. Release date is April 1, 2026. It should be on everyone’s TBR pile. I was giving an ARC by the publisher was not expected to get a positive review. All ideas presented are my own.
