The title speaks for itself. Healing. These short devotions were healing to me as I read one each day. Reminders that my heart and soul need healing from things that happen in every day life.

This is the 3rd Prayer Jar Devotional by Wanda Brunstetter on Healing. What a great way to start your day and I read a page a day. Many inspirational verses. You have a closer walk with God. Wanda Brunstetter is a wonderful author. I would recommend you getting this inspirational devotional as well as the first two.

I am a big fan of Wanda E. Brunstetter. She writes wonderful Amish based fiction books as well as cookbooks. I have quite a few. Her new book is a touching and important devotional about healing. We all have suffered some loss or hurt in our lives. This collection is helpful to so many. I can relate to some. I appreciate the devotion called ONE DAY AT A TIME, SWEET JESUS. The Prayer attached to this is: "I know this is a process, Jesus. I will trust you even on the tear-filled days. Amen." Important and relevant.

The inspiration for this book comes from Wanda’s Prayer Jar Series. It offers you encouragement and encourages you in your own prayer life. It even encourages you to start your own prayer jar. Wanda’s third devotional in the prayer jar series. Like the other two Devotionals there are many inspirational verses. I like to read a verse each day since they are only one page.

It's the third devotional that she's based on her popular Amish series, The Prayer Jars, and it continues her efforts to inspire and encourage her readers. Brunstetter and Janice Thompson use Bible scripture, short commentaries, and prayer prompts to do this, and they also explain how to create your own prayer jar. Study these devotions, jot down your thoughts on a slip of paper, add a special prayer, and place the slips in the jar so that you can revisit them again! Sometimes it's hard to understand that physical pain isn't the only hurt that we experience. Emotional and spiritual pain can be just as overwhelming and debilitating and healing feels impossible to achieve. Using this book is a wonderful way to begin to heal those hurts, and these devotions will never lose their relevance.
