    Restored

Published by Jeanette Fallon on Dec 09, 2022

Apple Creek, Ohio. A place I want to visit. A wonderful place to call home. This is Book 3 of the series. You could read by itself but I recommend reading all three in order. You are re-introduced to Lois and Orley. They are a wonderful Amish couple who run the antique store. Their love for each other spills over onto others. Andrea had her life planned out. Until she found out the circumstances of her birth. This news confuses and overwhelms her. Everything is not the way it seems. I loved the book. I was quite surprised by the ending. You will be, too.

    The Apple Creek Announcement

Published by Sally Davison on Sep 21, 2022

A beautiful story about Andrea Wagner, a piano teacher and artist who is engaged to Brandon Prentice, a veterinarian but they didn't set their wedding date. Soon after setting the date for Valentine's Day Andrea found out she had been adopted. An intense search for her biological parents began and she did little else except for her work. Brandon felt neglected and there was conflict between the two. Lois and Orley who own the antique store are very involved in trying to help this couple. They have their own story in this book which is so good. After a friend's suggestion to write for advice in the local newspaper, Andrea still struggled with her past of not knowing she was adopted. This is a very good book and I like when a book "comes together" as this one, and doesn't leave me hanging. I received a copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

    Great Series Conclusion!

Published by Connie Porter Saunders on Aug 30, 2022

Andrea Wagner seems to have a wonderful life! She enjoys teaching piano lessons, she loves to paint, and she is planning her wedding to a veterinarian. And then, she learns that she was adopted and her whole life seems a lie! As I read The Apple Creek Announcement, I wondered how I would feel. Would I feel betrayed? Would I want to find my birth parents? Author Wanda E. Brunstetter concludes the Creektown Discoveries series with a moving thought-provoking novel that introduces Andrea and her fiance Brandon Prentice, and offers a reunion with Orley and Lois Troyer. The Troyers are still eager to help people in need of advice and friendship so is it any wonder that they feel drawn to Andrea and her predicament? There is, however, a secret that's been hidden for many years, and it appears to be a life changer for many people! Will Orley and Lois be able to offer Andrea the advice and support that she needs? Brunstetter has once again given readers a story that is both entertaining and inspiring. I think we often associate the Amish with simple, trouble-free lives but she reminds us that they certainly aren't exempt from problems and heartache. They do, however, believe that God will help them work them out and they choose to fully trust Him to do so. The Apple Creek Announcement is a perfect example of their convictions and it's a wonderful way to conclude this series. I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

    The Apple Creek Announcement

Another great book by Wanda. We return to Apple Creek, the antique store and our friends from the previous books. Andrea finds out that she was adopted and reaches out in an attempt to learn more. The antique store owners and her fiance become complicated relationships. I love how Wanda weaves in a good Christian message in her books and this is no exception. Some unexpected twists made this another great read.

    When you feel incomplete

Published by Sally Mander on Jul 22, 2022

5 stars, When you feel incomplete THE APPLE CREEK ANNOUNCEMENT by Wanda E. Brunstetter Andrea is a piano teacher and artist who feels drawn to painting Amish scenery. She doesn't know why, but she is drawn in that direction time and time again. She's in her thirties and had almost given up on getting married and having a family, then she met local veterinarian Brandon. They decide to marry, and then she finds out she was adopted. Andrea comes across as a little immature, but I think that is to be expected when you are cosseted and protected by your loving parents. Her first feelings are of betrayal, why didn't her parents tell her that she was adopted? She feels drawn to identify her birth parents, putting her relationship with Brandon on hold and turning away from everyone as she begins her journey. This is a stand-alone book, it means a little more to me because I have read the other two books in this series. They give you more of the background happenings and relationships, as you go into this novel. Creektown Discoveries Series 1. The Walnut Creek Wish 2. The Sugarcreek Surprise 3. The Apple Creek Announcement Highly recommend. #inspyfiction #favoritebooks #newrelease2022 I gratefully received a complimentary copy of #theapplecreekannouncement from #barbourfiction I was under no obligation to post a review. #inspirationalfiction #contemporary #barbourpublishing #ChristianFiction #morals #adoption #Amish #artist #wandaEbrunstetter
