MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK A Dog Has His Day by Janice Thompson is such a sweet book about a special little dog. And so much more knowing this sweet little doggie actually exists. When Isabel Fuentes, adopts a feisty rescued dachshund, she has no idea what’s in store for her. A pretty fast paced story that will have you zooming through this book to see what happens next. Of course you may have to backtrack to stay with the story line. However the book gets so much more interesting when Texans quarterback, Corey Wallis’ female dachshund goes missing and everyone wants the big reward that is offered, so this has the entire town looking. You will find this fifth book in the Gone to the Dogs series a real delight to read. I love the sweet little dachshund story. My nephew has one that looks just like this one, and he is very much as sweet. These little doggies are just the sweetest breed. If you enjoy a sweet, care free story, this is one you will love. And if you love dachshunds, then you have it made! I’m giving this very beautiful story Five Stars. Don’t forget to check put the other books in Gone to the Dogs series. I had not read any of the other books in this series but I was able to tie the characters together. It was a fun book with a surprise at the end. A fun mystery with a little romance. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy friendship, romance and football.

This is a fun reunion with some of the interesting, and sometimes quirky, characters from the previous books, including Grandma Peach, legendary country music star Trina, and many of the staff members from the Lone Star Vet Clinic. This time they're involved in an enjoyable tale with some puzzling twists and turns, an adorable dachshund that becomes an unlikely matchmaker, and some sweet romance just waiting to happen! Author Janice Thompson once again proves her ability to captivate readers while avoiding the use of explicit or graphic content. Every Dog Has His Day is a perfect read for those who want intrigue and romance. Fans of cozy mysteries will love it!
