If you want to please the Lord, trust Him in every area of your life. Let Him be the One you go to for help and healing in your relationships, finances, marriage, parenting, and health. Let Him be the One who knows every fear that overwhelms you. Tell God the ways life is shaking you up, and wait for His intervention with reverent expectation. Let the Lord see your bold faith revealed. When has He ever let you down? The reality is He never has and never will.
But understand that what will cause God displeasure is watching you shrink back when the storms rage. Because of your faith, you’re not a wimp. You’re not without hope. So the moment your faith begins to shrivel up, reengage with God. Be honest and ask for a greater level of trust. As a person who believes, you don’t have room for doubt to take root. . .so don’t let it.
Father, grow me into a powerful person of faith. Help me trust that You are working in my life. I want to lean into Your ways more every day. Show me how to stand strong so life doesn’t make me shrink back in cowardice. I trust You and I believe in You. Seal that resolve in me today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
