Barbour Publishing, Inc., an ESOP Company Seeks to hire a well-organized and detail-oriented individual to work in our Order Fulfillment Department.
This person will have a good understanding of Barbour’s fulfillment processes, which include picking orders, processing returns, and pack assembly.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pick room: Order fulfillment with accuracy
- Perform various Solochain (order processing software/scanner) functions
- Accurate inventory counts (cycle counting)
- Consider and provide input on ways to improve processes
- Use equipment safely
- Put away trolleys
- Put away replenishments
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Returns Department: Return order and carton processing
- Occasionally assist with book pack assembly/disassembly
- Perform various duties, such as stickering books or replenishing bookshelves
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for our warehouse and order fulfillment environment. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift packages up to 50 pounds as necessary. Normal work hours are M-F 7:00 – 3:00. Work may require occasional overtime.
