Samuel Morris, once known as Prince Kaboo in Africa, received his new name when he received his new life in Christ. Once a child captive, beaten, whipped and close to death, Prince Kaboo experienced something similar to the biblical Saul, when he saw a bright light and heard a voice. The voice told him to “flee, flee,” and he did. Eventually learning about Jesus, and receiving a new name, Samuel Morris traveled to America to seek out one to teach him about the Holy Ghost.

A story of faith and miracles, Samuel Morris’s biography continues to touch lives, as his own life brought changes to those with whom he came in contact.

Morris was a humble young man who believed in God and his power, and lived it out well, influencing lives and making an impact on a university as well.

W. Terry Whalin does a great job of telling the story of Samuel Morris. Highly recommended reading for young and old, this missionary story challenges the reader to a deeper walk with God.
