News, Press & Reviews

In our busy lives, sometimes we need a quick little something—a prayer—that speaks to the issue at hand. Quillin has written a book of these little prayers that lift up and draw us to Christ even as they reflect real life. These are not high-flown, literary gems, but down-to-earth emails in the midst of life.

The book deals with such topics as anger, family, discouragement, faith, fear, fiancés, goals, God’s will and lots more.

This prayer caught my attention:
Pg. 168 I had to chuckle as I read the verse that says,
“Give not sleep to thine eyes”
(Proverbs 6:4)
I guess I don’t have much
trouble obeying that!
I have more difficulty with
“Come…apart…and rest a while”
(Mark 6:31)
Please help learn to
balance work and rest.
