Four sisters are hustled off to Wyoming by their rather unscrupulous brother-in-law who misread an order for BRIDLES as an order for BRIDES! The sisters arrived only to find that practically the only women in the tiny town ply their trade at the local saloon. While lots of the lonely men would gladly marry up with the spunky sisters, the ones to whom the sisters lose their hearts aren’t all that easy to hog tie.

James thinks Matty is way too sociable. Luke can only hope Corrine will let go the past and allow him to be part of her future. Gideon, the saloon owner, wants no part of bossy Bess who turns his saloon into both a church and a school and leads his girls “astray” to the path of righteousness. Hardin certainly has no use for a tomboy like Bertie.

But love and forgiveness and faith make a heap of difference as the town of Lickwind soon discovers. For though the townspeople are, at first, ready to sent the sisters packing, the girls aren’t about to leave.
